Another ExpansionViews: 2924

I received another 60cc’s of saline in my expanders Friday. I had been really happy with the progress until my most recent expansion. My skin is beginning to feel tight and the expanders have become hard. It was difficult to sleep over the weekend because my chest was sore and the expander/implants are sooooooo incredibly hard. I can not get comfortable at night. I finally resorted to taking a vicodin in order to have a peaceful evening. The cosmetic result is going to be fabulous upon completion. I just hope that I can stick it out for the next 3 expansions. My plastic surgeon is really terrific and the cosmetic look of the expanders is great, so I am sure the silicone gel implants will be really amazing. The reconstruction process sucks. I do not think the TRAM Flap or the Lat Flap would have been any easier. Oh, well!

Melissa – How long will it take to do three more expansions? sounds painful, let’s hope it will be over soon. ;-)

Hi gal! when everthing is place, you will look wonderful and feel good about it.

Hug, but not to hard.
